Network Drives on Eos Family Consoles Must be Remapped on Reboot
Issue
Starting in Eos Family Software version 2.2.1 we have seen reports that network drives (hard drives on the network for the consoles to read/write from) are not staying connected after a console is rebooted on some Windows 7 based desks.
Explanation of Issue
The console has to re-map the drive in the background in order to maintain the connection, and is not doing so automatically. This was resolved in Eos software version 2.9.1.
Solution
Updating to Eos Family Software version 2.9.1 or higher will resolve this issue.
Unfortunately the only solution while running affected versions is to go to the shell and re-map the drive.
