Gadget II Appears in Shell but Not Output Settings

Symptoms/Issue

Eos detects a Gadget II under Detected Modules in the Maintenance tab of the ETCNomad Shell, but does not output from the Gadget and it does not appear in the Setup -> System -> Output table.

Description/Explanation of Issue

This occurs when the Eos software cannot properly communicate with the Gadget II, but the device itself is working.

Fix/Solution

Several underlying issues can cause this.

No driver, or an incorrect driver, is associated with the Gadget — Manual Installation of Gadget Driver on Windows
Another application such as Concert or Updaterator is using the device
Ensure you are running the latest version of Eos software
If running on MacOS, ensure Eos has access to Input Monitoring
