How do I wire C18 series partition sensors to my Response Analog I/O Gateway ?
- SGM1639 (receiver)
- SGM1640 (emitter)
Answer
- Land the blue wires from both the emitter and receiver onto a single common
- Land the brown wires from both the emitter and receiver onto a single +10V
- Cap the emitter's black wire
- Land either the black or white wire from the sensor onto one of the gateway's inputs and cap the unused wire
- which wire you land determines if the closure is normally closed or normally open. land black for normally open and white for normally closed
