How to tell the difference between the original and new HPU Internal DMX Widgets
Description
The HPU was introduced with Hog 4 v3.14.0 in 2020. Due to part availability, the internal widget cards for the HPU were changed in 2022 with the release of Hog 4 v3.19.0, and now Version 2 Internal DMX Widgets will ship in all new HPUs, and will be sent when new internal widgets are ordered.
The new internal widget cards will not work on Hog 4 software older than Hog 4 v3.19.0.

How to Identify
- To identify whether a Version 1 Internal DMX Widget or a Version 2 Internal DMX Widget is installed without opening the HPU, from the Hog Start menu, go into Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, go to the System Info tab.
- Where the Internal DMX Widgets are listed, each new I/O card will have an "Update Firmware" button to the right.
The Update Firmware button is on the right, outlined in the red box here. These buttons will be grayed out for any Version 1 Internal DMX Widget
- Inside the console, Version 1 Internal DMX Widget will have part number 4311B5601. Newer cards will have a different part number.
- Look at both cards, as one card could have been replaced, while the other was not.
- New I/O cards will not be detected in the System Info tab within Control Panel in software prior to v3.19.0.
- Hog 4 v3.17.1 (and older) will report the following with new I/O cards installed:
Internal DMX Widget 1: Port 1-4 - Not Detected
Internal DMX Widget 2: Port 5-8 - Not Detected
- Both I/O cards will report firmware in v3.19.0 and newer.
- Hog 4 v3.19.0 (and newer) will report the following with new I/O cards installed:
Internal DMX Widget 1: Port 1-4 (v2) - 0.0.2.1.0.2
Internal DMX Widget 2: Port 5-8 (v2) - 0.0.2.1.0.2
- Original I/O cards will report as one of the following, depending on which position original cards are placed in.
Internal DMX Widget 1: Port 1-4 (v1) - 1.2.0.9.0.6
Internal DMX Widget 2: Port 5-8 (v1) - 1.2.0.9.0.6
