Requesting an Eos Family Fixture Profile
Question
My Eos console does not have my fixture profile.
How do I request a fixture profile to be added to the Eos family fixture library?
Steps to Solution
Check which version of Eos and Fixture Library Patch on console
- Before requesting a fixture profile be added, please check if you are running the latest version of Eos family software and fixture library patch: Finding the Fixture Library Version in an Eos Family Console (2.3.3 and newer) or Finding the Fixture Library Version in an Eos Family Console (2.3.2 and older)
Check to see if profile is in latest Fixture Library Patch
- You can check to see if the fixture profile that you need is in the fixture library update by going to: Fixture Library Hub
Update Console
- If you find that the your profile is in the latest version of the fixture library you can follow these steps to update your console to the latest version:
Submit request to Fixture Library Hub
- If you are running the latest version and you still do not see your fixture profile, and if you are unable to find the profile on the Fixture Library Hub, you can go to the Fixture Library Hub request page and submit a request for a fixture profile: https://fixture-library-hub.etcconnect.com/request
- If you are in need of a fixture profile immediately, then you will either need to build your own profile for the fixture, or if you are running Eos v3.2.4 or greater then you can do a GDTF Import
- If the console you are running is a WinXP console then you will need to request the profile for Eos v3 and then follow these step to merge the v3.x profile to your v2.9.x console.
